Change Management at a major utility

Leadership at a major utility recognised that their current culture was not enabling delivery on their strategy and initiated a journey to develop and sustain a high- performance culture beginning with their Finance Department. A three-phased approach to culture transformation was adopted, incorporating an assessment of the current culture; defining the detailed culture transformation roadmap; and implementation of the solution to deliver on objectives such as: improved and more targeted financial delivery; improved productivity and efficiency; enhanced quality of financial services delivered through a balance of shorter timeframes and improved review processes; increased levels of internal customer service; and improved retention, employee engagement, succession management and competency building, through a range of enhanced talent management processes.
